8 pm till midnight - Mardi Gras Ball at Emerald Coast Conference Center. This lovely event is your opportunity to dress up and party like they do in Mobile! Tickets are $35 per person -- you can purchase them at the Chamber or right here online.

Spend the weekend on beautiful Okaloosa Island -- Many of our Chamber member hotels and condos have special deals for Mardi Gras visitors. Click here for links to participating resorts.

Parade on the Island Begins at 11

Join us for the famous Okaloosa Island Mardi Gras Parade. Whether you're a spectator or a participant, you better love beads -- 'cause there's going to be lots of 'em.

The parade grows -- and is more fun -- every year. If you'd like to have a float, it's time to submit your application. Click here to submit your application and take part in this outrageous celebration.

If you want to be a spectator, we suggest you come early. You're welcome to park at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. There will be shuttles running from the Boardwalk to the parade route (and back, after the parade) from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Mardi Gras Block Party!

After the Parade, continue the festivities at the Mardi Gras Block Party hosted on Amberjack Drive. From Noon till 5, there'll be fun, food, vendor booths and festivities.

If you'd like to be a craft vendor at the Block Party, please contact Tiffany Austin with Helen Back -- her telephone number is 850-244-1379.

Mardi Gras Ball

This year, we're moving the Mardi Gras Ball to the Emerald Coast Conference Center -- and we're delighted to announce that the entertainment will be an Emerald Coast favorite, the Swingin' Dick Tracys (www.dicktracyband.com).

It's going to be a rollicking good time -- so plan to join us from 8 pm to midnight on Saturday, February 6. It's a ball -- so we hope you'll dress up -- but then again, it's Mardi Gras -- so (almost) anything goes. Your ticket price of $35 (or $400 for a corporate table of 10) covers your food and entertainment. There will be a cash bar at the venue.

Purchase your tickets online below -- or contact the Chamber at 244-8191. If you have questions, contact Patti Bohnsack, our director of special events.
